What is GameTech?

Startup Lithuania’s GameTech is the blended 3-month accelerated program where you will be able to empower your studio thanks to the expertise of GameBCN team and international industry professionals, as well as exclusive networking events and lectures.

What is the acceleration program like?

Selected teams in each edition will benefit from a program that will help them take their video game where it should be.


The program is divided into two modules: production and business. At the beginning of the program, production milestones are agreed on with each team.

Acceleration Program

GameTech Accelerator takes place, offering workshops, mentorships, office hours and networking events.

Demo Day

The Demo Day is the public event of all the studios that participated in the GameTech Accelerator. This event provides an opportunity to show your video game to potential international publishers.

Questions and answers

GameTech is a blended program that requires you to be in Vilnius less than 50% of the time. At least one member of the team must be on-site for 5 of the 12 weeks of the programme.

The rest of the time, all mentoring sessions and other events will take place online. There will be no sessions over the Christmas period, but you will have work to do.
When on-site, all mentoring sessions will take place in Vilnius and exciting events are planned!

Participating studios will benefit from 24 hours of mentoring and follow-up meetings throughout the 3 months.

It’s up to you how you achieve the goals you’ve agreed with GameTech!

Applications are always open. If you apply after the deadline, we’ll consider you for the next edition of the program.

We welcome applications from all over the world! You must register a legal entity in Vilnius and take part in the program in person in order to be eligible to participate and receive a grant. You don’t need to worry; we will assist you every step of the way and the process is simple! For more info you can contact  julija@startuplithuania.com. In Vilnius, registering a business is simple! A step-by-step manual for creating a legal entity in Lithuania:
  1. Prepare articles of association, along with founding act/founding agreement

  2. Reserve a temporary company name (optional)

  3. Open an accumulative bank account

  4. Transfer share capital to that accumulative account

  5. Notarise the founding documents at a registered notary’s office

  6. Register the company in the Register of Legal Entities

  7. Convert the accumulative bank account into a settlement account

After the open call, the GameBCN team will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the companies that applied. The studios will then be presented to the committee who will make the final selection. All applicants will be informed of the outcome of the selection process.

GameBCN is a Barcelona-based company that specialises in incubating and accelerating video game development. Its activities include supporting studios with training, mentoring and resources to help them successfully develop and launch their games. GameBCN works with a wide range of companies and organisations in the games industry to promote innovation and growth in the video games sector.
